The interactive wall, explained
An interactive wall turns any flat surface into a large playable display. A projector casts the game onto the wall, a sensor reads what happens on that surface, and the software reacts in real time. Up to twenty touch points are recognised at once, so a whole group can play together rather than taking turns on a tablet.
Principle
Projection, detection, reaction
1. Projection
An ultra short throw projector displays the activity on the wall. Because it sits close to the surface, players cast almost no shadow on the image.
2. Detection
A laser plane reads impacts and touches. It captures no image, no video and no biometric data. The optional K-motion camera adds full body detection for participants who cannot throw or reach.
3. Reaction
Targets, scores, sounds and animations respond instantly. Sessions can be cooperative, competitive, timed or entirely free.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
- How much does an interactive wall cost?
- The Kmoove interactive wall starts from €5,990 excluding VAT for the K-Station S, including a 3-year warranty that can be extended to 5 years. The final quote depends on your configuration: fixed or mobile, ultra short throw projector, the K-motion camera option, content packs and whether you add a subscription. We send a detailed quote within 48 hours.
- K-Station or K-Mobile: how do I choose?
- The K-Station is fixed. It is installed in a dedicated room, on a wall or on a frame, and works with your projector. The K-Mobile weighs 18 kg, has its projector built in and moves from room to room or from site to site, ready in 5 min. One room and daily use: choose the K-Station. Several locations: choose the K-Mobile.
- Does the interactive wall need Wi-Fi?
- No. The system is fully self-contained and no internet connection is required to play. A network is only useful occasionally, for software updates.
- Is a subscription required?
- No. Twenty games are built into the system and work for life with no subscription at all, which makes grant and funding applications much simpler. To go further, you choose freely between buying extra games outright and taking out a subscription. Maintenance plans remain optional.
- How does the system detect players?
- By default, a laser sensor detects impacts and touches on the projected surface. It records no image at all. The optional K-motion camera adds full body detection, so participants can play with their hands, arms or whole body, with no ball and no object.
- Is any personal or health data collected?
- No health data is collected. Results stay local to the wall and only a first name or nickname can be entered, which keeps deployment simple for care and education teams.
- Can we create our own games?
- Yes, with Editor mode. Nine templates let your team build activities on a computer, then sync them to the wall. Facilities also share content through Kmoove Community, and Kmoove Store offers ready-made packs from several publishers.
- Do you ship outside France?
- Yes. Kmoove designs and assembles its interactive walls in France and works with international partners and resellers. Email contact@kmoove.com with your country and project and we will confirm lead time, power requirements and support options.
